Day One highlights:

Opening plenary with Dr Gillian Ruch,  Head of Social Work Studies,  University of Southampton, speaking on Relationships and Reflexivity

 ‘All our own work’ -  a series of presentations  by our own members, showcasing  the  work, the issues and the challenges with which they are involved

 Day Two highlights:

 Two small group workshop sessions ( choose two out of four on offer)

 A multiprofessional plenary debate, “Facing the future - Where now for palliative care social work?”

Featuring Barbara Monroe, Chief Executive, St Christopher’s Hospice, Dr Carol Davis, Lead Consultant in Palliative Care, Southampton, and Professor Peter Beresford, Professor of Social Policy at Brunel University

Blast from the past/stroll down memory lane - a review of our Association, featuring some key players of the past 25 years and a very scrumptious cake!

More food - a gala dinner in the eveningfollowed by Bob Heath, Music Therapist, Sir Michael Sobell House

 Day Three highlights:

Closing presentation by Hilary Fisher, Chair, Dying Matters Coalition (National Council for Palliative Care) - Death and Dying in the Public Domain
