APCSW’s annual conference “What Matters Most: Human Rights Challenges for Palliative Care Social Workers” will comprise virtual sessions each day on 30th September, 1st October and 4th and 5th October.
Today’s highlights are Aida Shoush from St Christopher’s Hospice who is also APCSW’s Welfare and Benefits Adviser hosting “No Recourse to Public Funds – definitions and who is affected”.
Later in the afternoon Dr Sheri Mila Gerson will host her session on “Hospice Professionals experience of Suicide and Assisted Dying (presentation and discussion). Dr Sheri Mila Gerson is based in Washington, USA and is a Research Affiliate at the University of Glasgow.
Monday 4th October
12:00-13:00 “No Recourse to Public Funds – definitions and who is affected”
15:00-16:30 “Hospice Professionals experience of Suicide and Assisted Dying” (presentation and discussion).
