Resources You Might Find Helpful
We’ve collected together a wide range of resources, from presentations and conference notes to whitepapers and training materials, which we feel anyone in a palliative care social work role may find interesting. Due to differences in some of the legislation and governance structures in Scotland. Wales, Northern Ireland and England we will aim to include some resources that are specific to each of these individual countries. This may take us a little while to assemble so please bear with us in the short term.
If you feel you have other resources that you’d like to share then please feel free to send them into firstname.lastname@example.org for consideration.
The role of social workers in palliative, end of life and bereavement care (2016)
This resource aims to ensure that people benefit from good social work at the end of their life, and that those close to them are supported during this time and into bereavement. We want this resource to be used by all to understand what social work can offer, to secure good social work, and to support social workers as a crucial element of good end of life care.Link to pdf presentation
